A Registered NGO Serving Since 1999

Yuva Viklang Evam Dristibadhitarth Kalyan Sewa Sansthan (YVDKSS) is a non-governmental organization based in Kurebhar, Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Registered under the Indian Societies Registration Act (1860) and the PWD Act 1995, we have been a steadfast champion for persons with disability for over two decades.

As an implementing partner with Sightsavers since 2007, we run community-based rehabilitation, inclusive education, and social inclusion programs across multiple districts in Uttar Pradesh.

Our Timeline

19+ Years of Impact

1999
YVDKSS founded and registered at Faizabad under the Indian Societies Registration Act, 1860. Work for visually impaired persons begins.
2000
PWD Registration obtained (Lucknow). Inclusive Education Program launched with NAB support for Children with Visual Impairment.
2001
National Trust Registration secured (Delhi, Reg. No. 2413/MR/2001), broadening the scope of disability welfare services.
2004 – 2006
MHRD-supported Integrated Education Program for PWDs (HI, VI, MR) started across four blocks of Sultanpur district.
2005
FCRA Registration received, enabling receipt of foreign funding for disability welfare and rehabilitation programs.
2007
Partnership with Sightsavers begins. Comprehensive Eye Services (CES) launched in Kurebhar block. CBR Programme initiated.
2010 – 2014
Second CBR programme in Jaisinghpur block. Community Based Rehabilitation & Social Inclusion program for twin-track development of PWDs.
2016 – 2018
UP Social Inclusion Program (UPSIP) launched across Sultanpur, Varanasi & Kanpur with DPO strengthening focus. Organization scales operations district-wide.
